Schonbrunn Palace-Vienna

Schonbrunn palace was built in 1711, it contains 1441 rooms with the park that follows a French design and stretches over an area of nearly 200 hectares of different gardens. It was the residence of the Empress Maria Theresa and her husband Franz and her 16 children. Napoleon used the Palace during his occupation of Vienna on 1805-1809 and it was the site of the headquarters of the British occupation troops during the Second World War.
